Meanwhile, it has been alleged that trucks have caused damage to the structure of Ayasofya.

Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü has issued a statement denying claims that high-tonnage trucks have been entering Ayasofya. The institution clarified that the historical site has not been damaged. Recent images surfaced online, sparking debates about a truck entering Ayasofya, to which the Ministry of Culture and Tourism responded, assuring that the structure remains unharmed. Experts have refuted these claims, stating that the allegations are not supported by scientific evidence.
