Why bayram Is Trending Today?

Victory Day celebrations, known as Zafer Bayramı, are being enthusiastically observed in Cyprus. In Cairo, a comprehensive program has been organized to mark the 30th of August, which is celebrated as Victory Day.

On August 30, the Victory Day (Zafer Bayramı) celebrations took place across Turkey, marking the 103rd anniversary of the Turkish War of Independence. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a message on the occasion, emphasizing the importance of unity and heritage. The day was also marked by various events, including a special flight performance by SoloTürk, and messages from politicians, ministers, and other public figures. In Istanbul, the Vatan Caddesi was closed to traffic due to the celebrations. Meanwhile, some public services like public transportation and notary offices operated under special schedules.
