The Istana has clarified that the BLT and other programs are funded through efficient use of the budget. The government has also announced an additional IDR 30 trillion for the BLT, further expanding its reach to 35 million recipients. Purbaya has projected that the Indonesian economy will grow by nearly 5.7% by the end of the year, partly driven by the BLT and other stimulus programs. The government has also announced an increase in the number of BLT recipients and national internship programs as part of its economic stimulus package. The additional BLT funds will be disbursed this month, differing from the PKH and Sembako aid programs.
