This 18-month program enables the conversion of digital assets into Thai baht. The primary objective of this project is to boost tourism by providing a seamless and convenient payment system for crypto-holding tourists. The sandbox, which is set to run for 18 months, aims to facilitate the easy conversion of digital assets into the local currency, thereby enhancing the overall tourist experience in Thailand. Additionally, SoftBank has recently invested 65 billion baht in Intel shares, as the chip giant looks to make a comeback in the market.
