Afghanistan's Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, visited Darul Uloom Deoband, a prominent Islamic seminary, during his India trip from October 11 to 12. The visit aimed to strengthen historical and diplomatic ties between India and Afghanistan, with Muttaqi expressing hope for closer relations. The seminary, which has roots in the Deobandi movement, holds significant historical, religious, and diplomatic importance for Afghanistan. Despite the Taliban's restrictions on women's rights, women journalists were allowed to cover Muttaqi's event at the seminary.
