Guyon Menkeu Purbaya, the Minister of Home Affairs, has met with Asa Pramono Anung, the Governor of Jakarta, regarding the reduction in the regional transfer fund, known as Dana Bagi Hasil (DBH). Purbaya stated that the DBH can still be reduced further. Despite this, Pramono has not protested the cut and has instead expressed that they will need to be creative in their financing. He also assured that the budgets for the Jakarta Provincial Government and the Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council will not be reduced. However, Purbaya later hinted that the DBH could still be reduced further, with Seloroh, the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, agreeing that there might be room for additional cuts.
