Why ghyka Is Trending Today?

The remains of Domnitor Grigore Ghyka, a prominent figure in Romanian history, were honored at the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Gendarmerie Church. The repatriated remains of Domnitor Grigore Alexandru Ghyka were laid to rest at the Romanian Gendarmerie Church in the capital, with the participation of Crown Prince Nicolae of Romania. The funeral took place on Sunday at Cotroceni Palace.

Grigore Alexandru Ghyka, the last ruler of Moldavia (1854-1856), is being honored with a historic event at the National Opera in Bucharest. His remains, which were previously exhumed and repatriated from France, will be placed in a sarcophagus at the Cotroceni Palace's Union Hall on Sunday. This follows a ceremony marking his return to Romania, which will also include a display of his belongings at the Focşani Museum.
