Headspace, a popular mindfulness and meditation app, has raised $100 million in a funding round led by The Chernin Group. The company plans to use the funds to expand its content library and grow its user base. Headspace's co-founder and CEO, Andy Puddicombe, expressed excitement about the investment, stating that it will help the company make mindfulness more accessible to people around the world.

Headspace, along with companies like Calm, Insight Timer, and Simple Habit, is expected to drive growth in various automotive markets such as batteries, artificial intelligence, antifreeze/coolant, ambient lighting, and 48V systems. Additionally, Headspace is also a key player in the growth of automation-related markets like testing, as a service, tire inflation systems, content recognition, test equipment, fluid dispensing systems, dispensing machines, and cell cultures.
