Setya Novanto, a prominent figure in Indonesian politics, has been released from prison under certain conditions. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has stated that the case involving the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights is still ongoing. Novanto, who was previously convicted in the e-KTP project corruption case, was granted conditional release after serving 28 months and 15 days in prison, receiving a total remission of his sentence. However, his political rights remain suspended, and he is set to be fully released in 2029. Despite his conditional release, Novanto's status could be revoked if he violates any conditions set by the authorities.

Jonathan Frizzy, arrested by Kalapas Pemuda Tangerang, is reported to be in early-stage cancer and has psychological health concerns, leading to efforts for his detention suspension.
