Why limanu Is Trending Today?

Bojana, a journalist for Nova.rs, was brutally beaten by SNS thugs on Limanu. She recognized some of the attackers from the Ćacilenda neighborhood and was told by police that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Stanković, a member of the Kreni promeni party, criticized the government for prioritizing the construction of a wall on Limanu over the Kosovo issue. Dačić, a Serbian politician, defended the display of Serbian flags and the presence of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Limanu, stating that anyone who objects has a distorted value system.

The President of the City Assembly of Novi Sad, Dina Vučinić, announced the construction of a church on Limanu for the victims of the Novi Sad raid in 1942. Ivica Dačić, the leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia, questioned the normality of the issue, given that the main problem is the construction of a church. Vučević, a Serbian politician, denied being present at Limanu, stating that any magnification of the photograph would show it wasn't him. He also emphasized that respect for Serbian symbols is mandatory for those living in Serbia, suggesting that those who don't like the Serbian flag can choose another flag or country.
