Why maduro Is Trending Today?

Leopoldo López, a prominent Venezuelan opposition leader, has been targeted by President Nicolás Maduro, who is seeking to strip López of his Venezuelan nationality. Maduro's actions come in response to López's critical remarks against the government, made from his exile in Spain. López has publicly stated that Maduro is attempting to revoke his nationality for expressing views shared by many Venezuelans. The government has already withdrawn López's passport and initiated a judicial process to remove his citizenship. López, however, has defiantly responded, asserting that Maduro cannot take away his Venezuelan identity or his freedom. Maduro has formally requested the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to strip López of his nationality, citing López's alleged calls for military invasion as the reason.

Israeli military kills ten militants in response to an attack on a military base in southern Gaza. The incident occurred after a group of militants launched rockets towards an Israeli army camp.
