Meanwhile, Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals has received Anvisa GMP certification for its sterile manufacturing facility in Haridwar.

Eight people died and over 30 were injured in a stampede at Haridwar's Mansa Devi Temple, triggered by a false alarm of electricity leakage. The temple reopened with enhanced security, and both Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh CMs announced Rs 2 lakh aid for the victims' families. A probe is ongoing.
