Why mindich Is Trending Today?

The Prosecutor General's Office submitted a motion to the Verkhovna Rada for the dismissal of Hrynchuk and Halushchenko. The SAPO prosecutor revealed that Hrynchuk had stayed overnight at Halushchenko's residence on multiple occasions, but Halushchenko denied any knowledge of this. President Zelenskyy announced sanctions against two individuals named in the NABU probe and the dismissal of Halushchenko and Hrynchuk. In leaked NABU tapes, Halushchenko was referred to as "Derkach's man". A conversation between Mindich and Halushchenko was recorded at the moment Zelenskyy called Halushchenko, following a message from Mindich.

Timur Mindich, a businessman with ties to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has been at the center of several corruption investigations. Prosecutors allege that Mindich influenced officials, including Ihor Halushchenko and Serhiy Umerov, while recordings published by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) suggest he coordinated influence and financed projects with stolen money. Mindich, who is also a co-owner of the comedy group "Kvartal-95" with Zelenskyy, fled Ukraine before searches at his properties. His escape and the subsequent investigations have been criticized by some as a power move by an "anti-Zelensky coalition," with others comparing it to a fox being killed and then joining an environmental organization.
