Pasar Taman Puring, a iconic market in Jakarta, was devastated by a major fire, destroying around 500 kiosks and causing an estimated Rp30 billion in damages. Despite no fatalities reported, the fire displaced hundreds of vendors, some suffering losses of hundreds of millions of rupiah. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Pasar Taman Puring in Kebayoran Baru is currently ablaze, with over 500 kiosks destroyed. The fire is still active, causing traffic disruptions and leading to the temporary closure of TransJakarta routes 8D, 8E, 13B, and L13E. Around 115 firefighters are battling the blaze, which has also led to the evacuation of prisoners from the nearby police station.
