This marks the second time the court has dismissed Quiboloy's plea for hospital arrest, as he is currently detained at the National Bureau of Investigation following his arrest in connection with a cyberlibel case.

The U.S. Department of Justice has not yet requested the extradition of Apollo Quiboloy, a Philippine religious leader. The Philippine government is currently considering the extradition request, but Quiboloy's camp has urged the Philippines to let its own courts decide on the case before any extradition takes place.
