Prabowo, a prominent figure in Indonesian politics, has been actively involved in transferring assets seized by the state, known as rampasan negara, to PT Timah, a state-owned tin mining company. These assets, valued at a significant amount, include smelters and foreign currency, totaling up to Rp 7 trillion. The transfer of these assets is part of an effort to strengthen the management of state-owned assets, as stated by the Minister of Environment and Forestry. Prabowo has personally overseen these transactions, with the most recent event taking place in Babel, where he handed over six smelters worth Rp 300 trillion to PT Timah. It is important to note that those involved in the corruption cases related to these assets have already been punished.
