Dorin Recean, the Prime Minister of Moldova, met with Romanian counterpart Ilie Bolojan at the Leușeni-Albița border crossing for a working meeting. Bolojan's visit to Moldova is his first official trip to the country. During their meeting, Recean emphasized the significant dependence of Moldova on Romanian energy, with over 50% of its electricity coming from Romania. The two leaders also discussed measures to reduce waiting times at the Moldovan-Romanian border. Following their meeting, Bolojan and Recean held a joint press conference at the Moldovan Government, where Bolojan praised Moldova's resilience under pressure.
