Robinhood, a popular retail brokerage, has acquired a majority stake in LedgerX, a derivatives exchange, in a joint venture with Susquehanna International Group, a global trading and technology firm. This acquisition, facilitated by Miami International Holdings, will allow Robinhood to expand into the derivatives market and reshape prediction markets. The move is backed by Susquehanna, which is known for its expertise in derivatives trading and technology.

Robinhood has partnered with Susquehanna to expand its prediction market business, with the stock price rising as a result. The two companies have plans to launch a futures exchange in 2026. In a strategic move, Robinhood and Susquehanna have acquired LedgerX to dominate the crypto derivatives market. Additionally, Miami International Holdings has sold MIAXdx to Robinhood Markets in partnership with Susquehanna International Group. In a recent interview, Susquehanna's Hosseini commented on Dell's AI forecast, stating that it was not exciting.
