He has assured that the Centre and state agencies are working together to provide relief and assistance to the affected areas.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami multiple times, assuring central support for rescue and relief operations. Dhami has been overseeing the situation, conducting a helicopter survey of the affected areas and assuring full support to the affected people. Over 130 people have been rescued so far.
