G. Ranganathan, the owner of Sresan Pharma, has been arrested in connection with the deaths of over 20 children who consumed Coldrif cough syrup manufactured by his company. The Madhya Pradesh police made the arrest, following which the state's Chief Minister, Mohan Yadav, vowed that the government would not spare the accused. Consequently, the license of Sresan Pharmaceuticals has been cancelled.
