Idaho authorities identified Wess Roley, a 20-year-old aspiring firefighter, as the lone sniper who ambushed and killed two firefighters while they were battling a wildfire. Roley set the fire to lure them in, then fatally shot them in a planned attack. He was later found dead, apparently by suicide.
