The University of Udayana (Unud) was shocked to hear about the death of a student, Timothy Anugrah, and the rector immediately contacted the ministry of research, technology, and higher education (Kemenristekdikti) to address the issue. Unud has formed an investigation team to look into allegations of bullying against Timothy, with Kemenristekdikti handing over the matter of disciplinary sanctions to the university. The ministry has also expressed concern over the case and urged Unud to monitor the psychological well-being of its students. Police are currently investigating the case, focusing on three witnesses, as Timothy's death is suspected to be a result of bullying.
